Expansion packs are an efficient way of adding more storage to your battery system or increasing the storage of the system you have in place each pack give you an additional 13.5kWh of storage and you can add upto 3 per Powerwall 3 for a maximum storage capacity of 54kWh

Powerwall 3 can be installed using the Tesla remote meter this will not provide you with a backup function but reduces the installation cost making the system more cost effecient.
